Blizzard Announce Northern Manitoba Impact Tour

The Pas, MB – The Northern Manitoba Blizzard are pleased to announce the Northern Manitoba Impact Tour, taking place from October 30-31, 2026, in Cross Lake and Norway House, Manitoba.
On October 30th, the Northern Manitoba Blizzard will take on the Winnipeg Blues in a regular season matchup at the Cross Lake Sports Complex. The following day, both MJHL clubs will meet in Norway House, Manitoba, to close out the Northern Impact Tour with another regular season game from the Kinosao Sipi Recreation Centre.
“As an organization we believe our responsibility goes beyond winning hockey games,” shared Blizzard President of Hockey Ops. & Head Coach, Josh Gratton. “We have an opportunity to use the Blizzard to bring people together, inspire youth and create opportunities across Northern Manitoba. This tour is a big step toward making this a team that the entire North can call its own.”
The Northern Manitoba Blizzard will be making stops around Pimicikamak Cree Nation and Norway House Cree Nation, where they will be giving back their time to local schools and residents in both First Nation communities.
“For some of these kids, seeing a Junior A Hockey game may be something they’ve never experienced in their own community,” Gratton explained. “The Northern Manitoba Impact Tour is about more than hockey. It’s about bringing our team to the communities of the North, building relationships, inspiring young people, and showing them, they have a place in the game.”
Both games will be regularly available to watch live on FloHockey, or fans can tune into the radio broadcast, 102.9 CJAR in The Pas.
